My time in prison has ended. I can no longer talk to any of my Inside friends. I can't ever let them know that I'm thinking of them, or that I repeated a funny story they told me. I feel like no one will quite understand the impact of having a 10-week friend. I wish I could keep encouraging them. This class was much more emotional than I had ever imagined.
